This plaque stands where the land of the Bult Family used to be. They had a horticulture and cattle farm and gave shelter to people in hiding including Hannie Schaft, Jan Bonekamp and Jan Brasser during the war years 1940-1945. There was a large sandy wall here with impenetrable bushes and twigs where the hiders could hide in case of danger. Hence the name "Het Schuilveld". The plaque was unveiled on 4 May 2022 in the presence of several descendants of the Bult Family.
