This propeller boss commemorates the rescue of Sgt. Wladyslaw Kiedrzynski, pilot of Hurricane V6873, 316 Squadron, Polish Air Force. Plucked from the cold waters of Ramsey Sound by island farmer, Bertie Griffiths and his fellow workers on 20th May 1941. Later assisted by RNLI station St. Davids.
