Reich General Ordnance Depot of the NSDAP

Tegernseer Landstraße 210, 81549, München
Bayern, Germany

Between 1935 and 1938, this building was constructed to house the "Reichszeugmeisterei." With dimensions of 110 meters by 85 meters, it is one of the largest concrete structures built during the Nazi era. This building housed, among other things, the famous Nazi trains "Germany" and the "Support Train Bavaria" which were used during mass events in Nuremberg. At the beginning of World War II, a 185-meter-long garage was also built for 40 trucks, along with a workshop and a gas station. Above the entrance, the outlines of the Reichsadler with a swastika are still visible. Until 1992, the United States Army used this complex.
