Remains Church Building of the Carmelite Monastery Nijmegen

These are the remains of the former church that belonged to the former Carmelite monastery. This was bombed by the Americans on February 22, 1944 during the mistaken bombing. The monastery, which was consecrated in 1930, provided shelter for the growing community of Carmelites, the order to which Father Titus Brandsma belonged. The former monastery building was converted into student housing.
