On the wall of this home, with the cooperation of the June 18 Association, a Death Plaque was placed for the former- and perished residents: Anton Herman Jozef van Straaten The Hague 7-11-1899 deported during the persecution of the Jews and died around 30-9-1942 in Auschwitz Julius van Straaten The Hague 19-12-1924 deported during the persecution of Jews and murdered on 28-5-1943 in Sobibor Fanny van Straaten The Hague 25-08-1926 deported during the persecution of Jews and murdered on 28-5-1943 in Sobibor Five Stolpersteine were also placed in front of the house for this family. His wife Eva Compris and youngest daughter Carolina Eva were transported to Bergen-Belsen on 15-2-1944 and survived the war.
