Junkers Ju-52/3m BJ+YV was shot down on 6 June 1944 in Swiss airspace by Swiss Moranes (MS406) fighters. The plane came down between Viiteboeuf and Baulmes. All five occupants were killed. It is the only German aircraft to crash in Switzerland during World War II.
