Crash Site Messerschmitt Bf 109 27023

On Sunday 30 January 1944, a German fighter aircraft, the Messerschmitt Bf 109 with work number 27023, crashed at this location. The 20-year-old Unteroffizier Otto Tillack was killed. To commemorate this event, this information panel was placed by the Historische Kring Dalfsen as part of 75 years of liberation, and the site is also included in the Liberation Route Europe ‘The Air War over Dalfsen’
