The cemetery in Piringen contains the grave of a resistance fighter of the Second World War. It concerns MOUREAU Armand, co-founder of the Independence Front and Adj. Commander of the Belgian Partisan Army Limburg. Armand "Pol" Moureaux was executed by the Germans at Breendonk on 11 April 1944.
