Anne Frank Tree
Lossersestraat, De Lutte
Overijssel, Netherlands, the

In De Lutte, in the Arboretum Poort Bulten park, a shoot has been planted of the white horse chestnut that Anne Frank looked out on from the Secret Annex in Amsterdam. The tree is not only a reminder of the persecution of the Jews, but also of the acts of resistance of the Gelderman family in World War II.
