Tribute to Léon Gautier

Towards the boulevard, on top of the tourist office, there is a tribute to Léon Gautier, one of the 177 Commando Kieffer commandos who landed here on Sword Beach. "When we saw the entire Allied armada gathered, we told ourselves we couldn't lose," said Léon. Using an app, you can see/experience what Léon went through when he landed here on the roof of the tourist office.
