On 1 January 1945 Fw190A-8 Gelbe 16 crashed approximately 500 metres NW of this spot. Pilot Unteroffizier Karl-Heinz Riedel didn't survive. The information board in photos 2 and 3 has been removed. Photo 1 shows the current (2024) situation.
