Hülchrath Castle

This castle served as a small NS-Ordensburg during the Third Reich. Members of the Werwolf groups were trained here, among other things. The most famous achievement from this slot is Operation Carnival. This operation resulted in the murder of Franz Oppenhoff, the mayor of Aachen appointed by the Allies.
