Crashsite of a Messerschmitt Bf 110 July 24, 1944 Commemorative plaques can be found at eight locations in the Municipality of Wierden where an airplane crashed in World War II. As part of the motto 'Lest we forget', this initiative was developed by Kees Kroon of the Historisch Kring Wederden in consultation with the municipality. It concerns eight crash locations plus the former V-1 launch track at Wierden.
