The cemetery of Hofstade contains Belgian burials of the Second World War. These are the graves of LUWAERT Francis, Boulogne (F) 22 May 1940 and DE BACKER Arthur, Willebroek 18 May 1940. There is the grave of a resistance fighter of the Second World War. It concerns LANGLET F. who was executed by the Germans at Oordegem on 5 September 1944.
