This reinforced AA battery, better known as fort "Molotov", was constructed in the '30s and provided fire support during the siege of Sevastopol (1941-1942). On 6 June 1942, the railway gun "Dora" fired seven 800mm (!) shells on the fort, with mixed results. Fort "Molotov" was taken by the German 24th Infantery Division on 17 June 1942, at 0745hrs.
