The cemetery in As contains a Belgian burial of the Second World War. It concerns: First Sergeant François RAQUET, 2nd Company - 4th Platoon of the Brigade Piron. killed in Falaise (F) on 19 August 1944. There is the grave of MAENEN Joseph, resistance fighter, executed in Breendonk on 11 April 1944. There is also a grave monument in memory of MARTINO Mathieu, executed in Breendonk on 11 April 1944, MARTINO Joseph, who died in the concentration camp Dora (G) on 21 January 1945 and SCHREURS Irma, who died in the concentration camp Belsen (G) on 9 April 1945.
