Remembrance Hall Crematorium Buchenwald

On the walls of this room inside the crematorium building hang numerous commemorative plaques in memory of the victims of the camp. Two of these plaques commemorate the Allied secret agents who were murdered between September 1944 and March 1945. The plaque on the left commemorates the French officers of the Service Spéciaux Militaire who were killed in the camp in October 1944. The plaque on the right commemorates the agents of the British Special Operations Executive and the Special Intelligence Service who were murdered in Buchenwald.
