al. 3 Maja 1, 30-062, Krakow
Lesser Poland, Poland

The National Museum in Cracow has in its main building an exposition on military history that also contains the First and the Polish conflicts in the Interbellum. Besides that the museum houses a collection Polish Uniforms and Military Orders, Medals and Distinctions. The museum itself has also an interesting history as it was looted by German soldiers during the Second World War. There are still 1,000 artifacts missing. This museum was the site of heavy fighting between German and Soviet forces in January 1945.
