Shipwreck SS 's Jacob

Northern Province, Papua New Guinea
This Dutch transport ship was sunk by a Japanese air raid on 8 March 1943, during Operation Lilliput. George Watson was one of the five victims. He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.
