Former United States Marine Corps air station. It was established in 1942 as Naval Lighter-Than-Air Station Santa Ana. It was base for airship operations supporting the United States Navy coastal patrol, during World War II. Photos: 1.) Waste ground in front of the northern hangar. 2.)
