Communication Bunker Air Defence Chugoku Military District

This semi-underground communication bunker was constructed during the Second World War and was part of the Air Defence Chugoku Military District Headquarters. It survived largely the atomic bombing of Hiroshima on 6 August 1945. This bunker was located 700 meters from the hypocenter of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. From here, the first reports about the fate of Hiroshima were sent. [b]The bunker today:[/b] It is currently used for educational purposes
