War Memorial Raizeux

Chemin de l'Église, Raizeux
Île-de-France, France

This memorial (Monument aux Morts) in the churchyard of the Église Notre-Dame-de-la-Bonne-Nouvelle commemorates the residents of Raizeux who gave their lives in the First World War and the Second World War. Two separate plaques commemorate: - The female resistance fighter Mme. Marine Blottas (1887-1945), who was murdered in Ravensbrück. - The French servicemen (AFN, Afrique Française du Nord) who gave their lives in the war in Algeria and the battles in Morocco and Tunisia, from 1952 to 1962.
