German Regelbau 601 Bunker

This German bunker was for the defense of the nearby Führer Headquarters "Wolfsschlucht II". The bunker has been transformed into a memorial dedicated to the Battle of France in 1939 and 1940. In the battle, 123,079 French were killed of missing. It includes a line from the speech of Charles de Gaulle of 18 June 1940: "France lost a battle but Franse dit not loose the war." At the memorial are remembrance plaques for French victims.
