Eternal flame as part of a WW2 memorial in Vyazma. In October 1941, the Red army suffered a catastrophic defeat near Vyazma. More than 400,000 soldiers died, more than 600,000 were captured. This tragedy is still regarded as one of the biggest losses of Second World war for the Russians.
