Up and around the Mittelbau-Dora Memorial Area it is possible to see many Memorials, exhibitions and remnants of Mittelbau-Dora Concentration Camp. Next to the crematorium, the SS had the ash poured out of the crematorium. The crematorium was used between the fall of 1944 and april 1945 for the burning of about 5000 bodies.
