This Messerschmitt Me 109G from 5. Staffel, Jagdgeschwader 11 crashed on January 30th, 1944 near Hilversum. 5. Staffel, Jagdgeschwader 11 lost that day two Messerschmitt Me 109G aircraft near Hilversum. Both aircraft went lost and both pilots managed to escape by parachute. The aircraft were departed from Deelen Airbase around 13.05 hrs to indercept USAAF bombers on their way to Germany. Both Pilots were Oberleutnant [bioid]46408,Heinz Knoke[/bioid] and Fahnenjunker Feldwebel [bioid]88215,Hans Raddatz[/bioid].
