M4 Sherman Tank "Massaoua"

This Sherman tank, named "Massaoua", of the 1st Company of the 501st Tank Regiment of the French 2nd Armored Division serves as a memory to the liberation of Écouche on August 13, 1944. The tank was damaged during the battle and left behind at this location. At the monument there are a few information columns.
