General Gavin's Fox Hole June 1944

The reconstructed fox hole at La Fiere is dedicated to General James M. Gavin, who according to the stories had his fox hole here on June 6, 1944 at the La Fiere actions. General Gavin has stated this isn't true, but the fox hole and the story remains.
