Simon Stevinkazerne

The former Simon Stevinkazerne (1938-1939) served as Waffen-SS army camp during the German occupation under the name of Langenbergkaserne. The Germans finished works that were stalled due to the invasion and added shelters and watch towers. It also played a role during the Indonesian Independence War in the Dutch Indies. The Simon Stevin was demolished in 2020.
